3 Tbs butter
2 tbs brown sugar
2 lbs fresh asparagus, cut into 2″ pieces
1 cup chicken broth
In skillet, melt butter; add sugar and stir to dissolve. Add asparagus; sauté for 2 minutes. Stir in broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and continue to cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove asparagus. Continue to cook sauce to reduce. Pour over asparagus.
