NHL Draft Sunday, Wild Tour Today 26 Jun 13

The Minnesota Wild continue to put the finishing touches on their NHL Draft Board. The NHL Entry Draft is Sunday in Newark, New Jersey. Minnesota currently does not hold a first-round pick, having traded the slot to Buffalo in exchange for Jason Pominville last season. The first scheduled pick for the Wild is No. 46 overall, which is a second-round selection. Minnesota assistant general manager Brent Flahr [[ FLARE ]] says that draft position dictates to them that they will select the best available player on their board, and not specifically target a team need with the choice.
