Rescue workers from around the area continued the search for a missing kayaker on the Minnesota River Monday. 51-year-old Stephen Fritze of Watertown, South Dakota went missing Saturday night after his kayak capsized on some brush near a bend in the river near Courtland. The two men with Fritze made it to shore, while he did not. Around 10 different boats and 40 local law enforcement personnel took part in the search on Monday as the river continued to rise following recent heavy rainfall. The search continues today (TUE), and canine units were being brought in for assistance.
