Locals Get State Appointments 20 Jun 13

New Ulm City Manager Brian Gramentz has been appointed to the Motorcycle Safety Advisory Task Force. The task force advises the Department of Public Safety and provides input on motorcycle safety issue operations, with the goal being to improve safety for all motorcycle riders and their passengers. The group focuses on motorcycle rider training and testing as well as public information and media relations for safety campaigns. Other local-area residents recently appointed to state commissions include Jeffrey Bumgarner of New Ulm, who was appointed to the Board on Judicial Standards by Governor Dayton this week, and Matthew Wolle of Madelia, who was named to the Minnesota Agriculture Leadership Council.
