A 22-year-old Cokato man facing over a dozen felony charges for a car crash that killed 3 people last year was scheduled to be in court Wednesday for a pretrial hearing. Paul Anthony Wickenhauser has been charged with 15 felony counts, including several counts of criminal vehicular operation for the triple-fatality east of Willmar last August. A 68-year-old Atwater woman and her daughter-in-law and 8-year-old grandchild were all killed in the head-on crash. A 5-year-old was seriously injured as well. A judge denied a request to dismiss the vehicular homicide charges against Wickenhauser last month, and a change of venue request had been denied prior to that. Wickenhauser’s 4-day trial is set to get underway July 30th following Wednesday’s pretrial hearing.
