Oven Baked Macaroni Beef Casserole 22 May 13

1-1/2 lb ground beef
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 cups elbow macaroni
salt and pepper
1 large can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp basil
8oz shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cook and drain macaroni. Brown beef with diced onion; drain excess liquid. Add macaroni and enough tomato sauce to coat macaroni well. Pour into greased casserole dish and sprinkle evenly with shredded cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with oregano and basil and bake for 45 minutes.
