A New Ulm Medical Center family physician has received the 2013 Teacher of the Year Award from the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Roger Lindholm of New Ulm received the prestigious award during the organization’s annual Spring Refresher in St. Paul recently. The Teacher of the Year Award is given to an outstanding teacher of family medicine in either an academic or practice setting. Candidates are nominated by students and colleagues. Dr. Lindholm teaches first- and second-year medical students who visit the New Ulm Medical Center clinic.
