New Ulm School Board Recap 24 May 13

The New Ulm District 88 School Board on Thursday approved a $162,000 bid to remove and replace the lockers at New Um High School over the summer. The board also voted to increase school lunch prices by 20-cents, although half of that increase is federally mandated in to meet federal reimbursement rules. The other half of the 20-cent increase will help fund a free breakfast program District 88 will implement next school year. The board also approved an early retirement incentive for non-teaching staff.
