The St. James Area Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director. Jennie Firchau officially took over the position on Tuesday after serving as the chamber’s administrative assistant for the past 3 years. She says she’s excited, and has several areas she’ll focus on. Firchau is an Ormsby native and St. James High School graduate who has lived in the community for the past 20 years. She has been serving as interim executive director of the St. James Chamber for the past 2 weeks following the resignation of Tabitha Johnson, who served as head of the chamber since last October when she took over from Lori Nusbaum.
