The Minnesota State-Mankato baseball team will play St. Edwards (TX) tonight at the NCAA Division II College Baseball World Series in Cary, North Carolina. St. Edwards beat Grand Canyon (AZ) last night 9-5 to advance to this evening’s game against MSU. St. Edwards is coming out of the loser’s bracket, so a Minnesota State-Mankato win tonight would eliminate St. Edwards and put the Mavericks into the title game. If MSU loses, it would then need to win an additional game to advance to the championship game, while also knowing a loss would knock the Mavs out of the tourney. Tonight’s game is set to begin at 6 p.m.
