Minnesota has recorded 3 more flu-related deaths over the past week as the influenza season continues to wind down. The latest flu deaths bring the state’s death toll to 197 since the start of the influenza season. Only 1 person was hospitalized with the flu last week. Since the start of the season, over 3,000 people have been hospitalized, but the weekly rate has dropped off sharply since peaking in January. No nursing homes and only 1 school reported confirmed outbreaks of the flu last week.
