The Timothy Huber murder trial in Kandiyohi County is in recess until Monday morning. The 47-year-old Paynesville man is charged with first- and second-degree murder for the October 2011 shooting death of 43-year-old Tim Larson from Albertville. The defense called five witnesses before concluding their case for the week. Neighbors and friends of Huber painted the defendant as a victim of his father’s physical abuse. Eighty-two-year-old Delbert Huber pleaded guilty to shooting Larson and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. The prosecution is trying to prove Timothy knew the shooting would happen and conspired with his father.
