Teams from across Minnesota will put their robots through the paces Saturday at the Minnesota State High School League’s second annual State Robotics Tournament. Nearly 800 students will battle their robots and try to take home the top prize. Among those competing will be students from Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial High School. The tournament features a total of 30 teams going head-to-head in a challenge to test their robots’ abilities and strengths. Doors open to the public at 8am Saturday at Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota campus. A giant interactive robot, King Robota, will be on hand to meet students, families and attendees.
