The University of Minnesota baseball team lost at Penn State yesterday 4-3 in ten innings. The Golden Gophers had won the first two games of the series, which was enough to have them all alone atop the Big Ten standings coming out of the weekend. Minnesota is 28-and-15 overall and 11-and-4 in the Big Ten. The Gophers lead Indiana and Nebraska by one game in the standings with the Cornhuskers set to visit Minnesota this coming weekend. Prior to that, however, Minnesota hosts UW-Milwaukee in a non-conference game on Wednesday afternoon.
