Minnesota health officials have confirmed two more flu-related deaths, bringing the state’s influenza death toll to 190 so far this season. The flu season continues to wind down in Minnesota, however, with no nursing homes and no schools reporting outbreaks last week. The number of people hospitalized with influenza rose slightly last week, with 17 cases compared with 13 the previous week. Since the start of the flu season, a total of 3,061 people have been hospitalized, but the weekly rate has dropped off sharply since peaking in January.
