Minnesota health officials are reporting four more influenza-related deaths over the past week. That brings the state’s death toll from the flu to 194 since the season started in October. The number of people hospitalized with influenza was down to four last week bringing the total number of flu hospitalizations to 3,067 since the start of the season. The weekly hospitalization rate has dropped off sharply since peaking in January. No nursing homes in Minnesota reported flu outbreaks last week, and only one school in the state had an outbreak, one in Freeborn County.
