Two Hurt In New Ulm Crash 29 Apr 13

Two people were hurt in a crash in New Ulm Saturday morning. It happened at just after 10am at the intersection of Highway 14 and Jacobs Street on the west end of the community. A westbound Dodge pickup truck driven by 47-year-old Richard Stitzinger of Cologne was struck by an eastbound Cadillac Seville that had attempted to turn in front of the truck. Stitzinger was not hurt, but the driver of the Cadillac, 41-year-old Debra Bloemke of Sleepy Eye, and an unnamed passenger in her vehicle both suffered unspecified injuries in the crash. That vehicle took severe damage, while the pickup received major damage.
