The trial date has been set for a staff member at a Hutchinson charter school accused of having sex with a student. 29-year-old Stephen Michael Noga was arrested at the New Century Charter School in Hutchinson last month after the allegations surfaced. He had allegedly been having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old female student over the past two years. The relationship was discovered after another student’s parents became suspicious of Noga’s behavior. He works in the school’s Information Technology Department, and has been placed on paid administrative leave. He remains in custody in the McLeod County Jail, with bail set at $5,000 cash or a $30,000 bond with conditions including having no contact with any female minors. Noga’s Criminal Sexual Conduct jury trial is set to begin on June 11th.
