New Prague Bogus Shooting Apology 23 Apr 13

The young suspect allegedly responsible for a school hoax in New Prague which led to a large-scale panic has apologized. The 12-year-old special needs child allegedly made a bogus call of a mass school shooting, which led to the closure of New Prague Public Schools on March 20th. A defense attorney says that the suspect, who had been adopted from the Ukraine, had been in possession of a cell phone that had been deactivated and made the 911 call because he likes police officers and bright lights. The boy had been held in a juvenile detention center following the call, and had originally been charged with making terroristic threats, but with the public apology the case is now considered to be closed..
