More Minnesota Flu Deaths Reported 05 Apr 13

The Minnesota Department of Health has confirmed two flu-related deaths during the last week of March. Influenza has now claimed a total of 186 lives in our state since the flu season began in October, but officials say it does now appear that activity is slowing down. Fifteen people were hospitalized over the past week, while no nursing homes and only one school reported a flu outbreak. The flu season peaked in late January.
