The national average price of gasoline declined in the Month of March for the first time in ten years, and gas prices now average nearly 30 cents per-gallon less than a year ago. Triple-A Minnesota’s Gail Weinholzer says that gas prices spiked in February, but we could see them increase slightly over the next month or two as refineries conduct routine maintenance. The average price of regular unleaded in Minnesota today (TUE) is $3.60 per-gallon. The cheapest gas in our state is $3.40 a gallon in Burnsville, and the spendiest gas is at $3.99 a gallon in Brooklyn Center. In New Ulm regular unleaded is selling for $3.59 a gallon. The national average is at $3.61 per-gallon.
