Flags At Half-Staff For Boston 17 Apr 13

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has ordered that flags at all state and federal buildings be flown at half-staff until sunset on Saturday to honor the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. Dayton signed a proclamation which says a “terrible act of violence” was committed against innocent men, women and children in Boston. President Obama has also ordered flags at the White House and all government buildings to be flown at half-staff. Three people were killed in the explosion in Boston, including an 8-year-old boy, and more than 170 were wounded in Monday’s bombing at the marathon’s finish line.
