Dayton Bonding Bill Local Projects 09 Apr 13

Governor Dayton rolled out his $750-million bonding proposal for state public works projects on Monday. It includes $109-million to continue renovations at the State Capitol, $85-million for a new high-tech lab at the U-of-M, $58-million to expand the Minneapolis Veterans Home and other facilities, over $51-million for improvements at the Minnesota Security Hospital in St. Peter, $14.5-million to expand Mankato’s Verizon Wireless Center, and more than a million dollars for flood mitigation construction in the City of Truman. Minnesota House Democrats are expected to unveil their bonding bill proposals today (TUE).
