Reward For Fairmont Arson Case 13 Mar 13

A reward of up to $2,500 is now being offered for information that leads to those responsible for a fire at an abandoned house in Fairmont last week that has been ruled a case of arson. No one had lived at the home on North Park Street for several years, and there was no electricity or gas on in the residence, which made the fire suspicious. The house was locked at the time, but entry was apparently gained through a broken window. The state Fire Marshall has determined that the cause of the fire was arson, and anyone with any information on the blaze is asked to call the state arson hotline at 1-800-723-2020.
