A Buffalo Lake man was seriously injured when 2 snowmobiles collided in rural Renville County Friday night. Officials say that 32-year-old Brandon Steve Karnik struck a snowmobile that was being operated by a juvenile while on private property about 8 miles northwest of Buffalo Lake. Karnik suffered serious injuries in the crash, and was hospitalized in Hutchinson. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. The juvenile was not hurt.
