New Ulm Scouting For Food 23 Mar 13

Boy Scouts in New Ulm are going door-to-door today (SAT) collecting donations for the New Ulm Area Emergency Food Shelf in the annual “Scouting For Food” drive. Food donations may also be left in the designated boxes at New Ulm churches and grocery stores. All donations of food and money received during the month of March qualify for partial matching grants from 2 different organizations. The New Ulm Area Emergency Food Shelf is currently in need of peas, carrots, mixed vegetables, pudding, jello, chicken helper, tuna, taco and chili mixes, macaroni and cheese, and size 2 and 3 diapers. If your New Ulm Scouting For Food donation has not been picked up by 11am you should contact the food shelf. Other Boy Scout troops in communities around the area are taking part in the Scouting For Food Drive as well.
