MN Health Care Exchange Approved 19 Mar 13

The state Senate has passed a bill setting up an online-based “Health Care Exchange” in Minnesota, and Governor Dayton is expected to sign it into law. Backers say 1.3-million Minnesotans will pick insurance from plans pre-screened by a special board. Insurance premiums are expected to go down following the implementation of the “Obamacare” health care reform measure, but critics say mostly due to federal subsidies.
