The family of a St. Peter native missing for over 2 weeks in Colorado is not giving up hope. 52-year-old Leann Meyer went missing in late February in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The last known correspondence from her was February 25th. Her relatives have now put out collection buckets at several St. Peter businesses for donations towards finding her, and her mother and a sister were driving out to Colorado on Friday to help with the search. Police are continuing to look for any evidence as to where Meyer may have gone. Her truck was found earlier this week, and a forensic team searched her home. It has not been confirmed if Meyer’s disappearance is a case of foul play, but her roommate has reportedly been uncooperative with police during the investigation. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information on Meyer’s whereabouts.
