Friday’s sunny weather had southern Minnesota residents bringing out their shorts and t-shirts as the temperature made its way into the 50’s for the first time in nearly 4-months. The mercury officially topped out at 55-degrees in New Ulm on Friday. The last time we saw the 50′s was December 4th, when it also hit 55-degrees. The warm-up will be short-lived for now, however, with highs barely making it into the 30′s over the next few days after today (SAT). There’s a chance of some freezing precipitation across the area this weekend as well.
