A 25-year-old Mankato man is in custody following a standoff with police early Friday morning that involved members of the River Valley Tactical Response Team. Authorities were called to the home on Grove Street in Mankato at about 4am on a report of a man making threats with a gun. Jordon Allen VanRyswyk allegedly threatened 3 women while holding a shotgun outside the residence. He reportedly turned himself in after officers set up a perimeter around the home, and was arrested without incident. He’s being held in the Blue Earth County Jail with charges pending. Police cleared the scene at about 7:15am.
