A Silver Lake man was sentenced to life in prison Thursday afternoon after being found guilty of murder in a jury trial earlier this week. 44-year-old David Muniz Bustos was convicted of four charges including first-degree murder while committing domestic abuse with a past pattern of domestic abuse, second-degree intentional murder, and two lesser murder-related charges. Bustos stabbed his girlfriend, 40-year-old Dominga Limon of Glencoe following an argument at her home last February. She died at the Hennepin County Medical Center two days later. Bustos was immediately committed to the state correctional facility in St. Cloud following his sentencing.
