The sentencing of the woman accused of kidnapping her own children from a foster home in Pemberton was delayed Tuesday due to the wintry weather. 21-year-old Reina Gandarilla had also been staying at the home she took her 2-year-old son and 4-month-old daughter from last November. A nationwide arrest warrant was issued after the 3 disappeared, but they were found at a hotel in Mankato 6 days later, primarily through the use of Gandarilla’s cell phone records. She pleaded guilty to depriving another of parental rights. She says that the weather kept her from getting to the Blue Earth County Courthouse Tuesday morning, and her sentencing was rescheduled for April 12th.
