A Fergus Falls woman has filed a federal lawsuit against New Ulm’s AMPI that claims she was injured by a foreign object while drinking a glass of orange juice. Debbi Jo Larson is suing Associated Milk Producers Incorporated because it is the former parent of Cass-Clay Creamery, which bottled the juice. Larson’s lawsuit says a sharp piece of plastic lodged in her throat when she was drinking the orange juice. She is seeking in excess of $75,000. AMPI does not comment on pending litigation.
