Authorities continue to warn against taking vehicles out on area lakes due to unstable and thin ice in many locations, and another vehicle fell through the ice on Madison Lake over the weekend. A truck pulling a fish house reportedly broke through the ice on Madison Lake on Saturday. This comes after a similar incident on the same lake last Wednesday, and several warnings from area law enforcement agencies. Several other such incidents have taken place throughout the winter in Minnesota due to fluctuating temperatures. Authorities say that ice should never be considered safe, and the thickness can vary greatly from one area to another.
