A St. Peter man has been sentenced to 3 years of probation for transporting illegal immigrants. Juan Arrazolo was also sentenced to 6 months of house arrest in federal court on Thursday, and was fined $2,000. In his plea agreement, Arrazolo admitted that between October 2006 and October 2011 he transported two illegal immigrants from Texas to Minnesota to work in his business. His company, Poultry Service Management, provided workers for large corporate poultry farms in Minnesota and the surrounding area. Arrazolo admitted that 1 of the individuals he transported was a citizen of Mexico, and that he knew the person was not a US citizen when he brought him from Texas to Minnesota.
