The St. Peter High School Decathlon Team is number one in the state. A total of 6 Minnesota high school teams competed in the Academic Decathlon State Competition in Chaska on Sunday and Monday, and the state championship honors went to the St. Peter High School Blue Team. They will represent Minnesota at the United States Academic Decathlon National Competition in Minneapolis beginning April 25th. Students received scores for speech, interviews and Super Quiz Relay during the state championship. An essay test and other objective tests were completed online prior to the competition. Second place in the state meet went to Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial. They’ll have a chance to earn a wild card spot to be the second team to represent Minnesota at the national competition.
