The 2013 Regional Spelling Bee is taking place this (TUE) evening at South Central College in North Mankato. Local spelling bee champs in grades 5-8 from around the area will be taking part in the competition, which begins at 5:30pm. The winners will advance to the National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC at the end of May. The public is invited to attend this evening’s spelling bee, which features many students from around the local area.
