The Polar Bear Plunge was held in St. Peter over the weekend, and over a hundred-thousand dollars was raised to benefit Minnesota Special Olympics. This was the 7th year that the special event was held in St. Peter, and approximately 600 “Plungers” raised a total of $105,000 for the state’s Special Olympics. The St. Peter event is organized by the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, which thanks everyone who participated, volunteered, and donated to the cause.
