New SW MN State President 27 Feb 13

The Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system appointed Connie J. Gores to be the next president of Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall on Tuesday. Gores has served at Winona State University since 2007 as the vice president for student life and development and as interim president during the summer 2012. She has also served at several other higher education schools. President Gores was being introduced to the Southwest State and Greater Marshall communities this (WED) morning at 11:30 in the Conference Center Ballroom. She will officially begin her duties in July.
