The cost of gasoline continues to rise in Minnesota, and across the nation. The average retail price of a gallon of unleaded gas in Minnesota has risen by more than 3-cents in the past week, and now average $3.79 a gallon. Gas in New Ulm was right at the statewide average as of Monday. The national average has also increased by nearly 3-cents in the past week, and is now at $3.72 a gallon. Gas prices in Minnesota are now 24-cents per gallon higher than one year ago, and 53-cents higher than just a month ago.
