Minnesotans with fish houses on lakes in the southern two-thirds of the state need to remove them from the ice by next Monday. The DNR’s Major Roger Tietz says that fish house owners need to remove everything from the ice, including shelter blocks and debris. Anglers can then use temporary and portable shelters until the ice conditions in the southern zone deteriorate. The removal deadline in the state’s northern zone is March 18th.
