Authorities continue to investigate a murder last week that led to a high-speed police chase that ended with a fatality in Waseca County, and more information has now been released. Investigators say that the man who died in the crash following the car chase killed his elderly father in Austin before the pursuit began. Authorities identified the man who was killed outside his Austin home early Friday as 86-year-old Dennis Seberson. His death was reportedly the result of blunt force trauma. The suspect in the killing was his 46-year-old son, Craig Seberson, of Meservey, Iowa. He was thrown from his vehicle after authorities used “Stop Sticks” to stop him following a 50-mile-long chase through 3 different counties.
