More than 2-dozen cows were on the loose on Interstate-90 in Rock County early Wednesday morning when the driver of a cattle trailer lost control and the vehicle rolled. The driver was a man from Hudson, South Dakota who told the State Patrol that another vehicle had veered into his lane at about 4:30am and caused him to lose control of his Peterbilt semi. Approximately 25 cows were loose on the freeway for some time while authorities rounded them up. There were still 2 cows unaccounted for as of Noon Wednesday. No injuries were reported in the rollover.
