Investigators have determined that an Olivia man whose body was found in a burned apartment last week died of natural causes, and not from the fire. The fire at the Westcourt Apartments in Olivia took place on Thursday, and autopsy results identified the deceased as 64-year-old Billy Eugene Camper. Those preliminary autopsy results found the probable cause of death to be of natural causes, although a full autopsy report is pending the final results of toxicology tests. The investigation of the scene of the fire has determined that it was accidental, and foul play is not suspected. The process of cleaning the apartment building continues, and the displaced residents are expected to begin moving back into their homes over the next few days.
