The American Red Cross Bloodmobile is making several stops around the area this week. The need for blood is constant, with one out of every ten people admitted to a hospital needing The Gift Of Life. All blood types are currently needed. The Bloodmobile will be in 4 different communities today (MON). Eligible donors can give blood at Tanker Bay Sports Bar in Winthrop from 1 to7pm today, at the Blue Earth County Library in Mankato from 11:30 to 4:30, at the United Lutheran Church in Lake Lillian from 2 to 8, and at the Waseca American Legion from Noon to 6. This week’s blood drives then continue on Thursday, with the Red Cross stopping at the Gaylord American Legion from 12:30 to 6:30, and on Friday with a public blood drive at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center’s Tomlinson Hall from 9am to 1pm.
