Minnesota goaltender Josh Harding stopped all 24 shots he faced as the Wild blanked the Stars 1-0 last night in St. Paul. It was Harding’s first NHL start since was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the offseason. He called the win one that he will cherish, admitting it was an emotional evening. New Wild forward Zach Parise [[ puh-REE-see ]] had the lone goal early in the first period as Minnesota improved to 2-and-0 in the early season. The teams went a combined 0-for-7 on the power play while Minnesota outshot Dallas 32-24. Cristopher Nilstorp made 31 saves for the Stars, who dropped to 1-and-1 this year. Minnesota hosts Nashville tomorrow night at the Xcel Energy Center.
