Tuna Chow Mein Casserole

1 T butter
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 T green pepper
1 can tuna, with liquid
3oz chow mein noodles (reserve 1/4 cup)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water
1/8 tsp pepper
3/4 cup salted peanuts

Melt butter in skillet. Cook and stir celery, onion and green pepper until onion is tender. Stir in tuna with liquid and remaining ingredients. Pour into ungreased 1-1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with reserved chow mein noodles. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Serves 4-6 people.
