Free-agent pitcher Carl Pavano is dealing with an injury setback. FoxSports.com reports the 37-year-old suffered a ruptured spleen when he slipped and fell while shoveling snow in his driveway in Vermont. He’s expected to be out six-to-eight weeks. Pavano was 2-and-5 with a 6.00 ERA in 11 games with the Minnesota Twins last season, but didn’t pitch after June 1st due to shoulder surgery.
