A New Ulm woman faces multiple felony charges for allegedly writing over $500 in forged checks. 40-year-old Dana Jorgenson has reportedly admitted to police that she wrote 6 forged checks totaling around $541 at area businesses. She was caught after a visitor to her home spotted a book of checks and around 100 lottery tickets that Jorgenson said were purchased with the victim’s checks. She’s been charged with felony check forgery and offering forged checks.
