Jury selection is scheduled to begin today (WED) in the trial of a Hutchinson man accused of killing a Little Falls man in October of 2011. Thirty-seven-year-old Jason Dominguez is charged with first and second degree murder in the death of 30-year-old Dustin Brown. Brown was reportedly shot seven times after the two got into an argument over drugs and money. Dominguez was allegedly pressuring Brown to do something drug-related which he didn’t want to do. Authorities say that on the day of the killing, Dominguez’ girlfriend brought him back to the area where Brown lived and picked him up after the shooting. The girlfriend told police Dominguez admitted to her that he shot Brown, and she led investigators to where Dominguez buried a gun, which was the same model of firearm used in the shooting. Dominguez is facing life in prison if convicted.
